Cocoa Peanut Butter Chip Cookies

This recipe is from the back of the peanut butter baking chips bag from Save-A-Lot. This is my kind of cookie. It is quick, easy to make and it is soft but not falling apart. My boys totally love this drop cookies. It is delicious and rich in taste!


COCOA PEANUT BUTTER CHIP COOKIES

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup butter (2 sticks), room temperature
1 1/2 cups white sugar
 2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 cups peanut butter chips
1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS:

1. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. 

2. Stir in the eggs and vanilla.

3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa, salt and baking soda.

4. Stir the combined dry ingredients into the creamed mixture.

5. Gently fold in the peanut butter chips and the semi-sweet chocolate chips.

6. Grease cookie sheets or line them with parchment paper.

7. Drop cookies by teaspoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.

8. Bake at 350°F for 7 to 10 minutes.

Makes about 6 dozen 2-1/2" cookies.
